The Walker Company’s purpose is to improve the quality of life for the people of Kentucky by providing cost-effective infrastructure in a timely manner. We are uniquely qualified to self-perform many of the trade packages within a given project, including structural concrete and general trades. Self-performing these trades allows The Walker Company to be less dependent on subcontractors and in more control of a projects schedule, resulting in projects being delivered at a quicker pace. In the event of unexpected construction challenges, The Walker Company has repeatedly proven the ability to effectively communicate with owners and subcontractors to resolve the issues at hand. Projects will be delivered on time and under budget with The Walker Company serving as general contractor.
The Walker Company has experience in the design-build, design-bid-build, and public-private partnership arenas, with project sizes ranging from $1-15 million. Some of these projects include a 24,000 square foot fire station, a 17,000 square foot office building, the development and revitalization of a college campus, and waste-water treatment plants.
